Athletics Womens Hammer Throw
South Australian athlete Brooke Krueger competed in the hammer throw at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. She threw 63.88m finishing 33rd overall. At the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games, Krueger placed fourth. Four years later in Melbourne, she took out the Commonwealth Games gold. Krueger’s uncle, Brian Booth, was a 1956 Melbourne Olympian in hockey.
