Coral's Story

Born in Dandenong, Victoria, Coral Bentley always had a love of dancing and practiced calisthenics for 16 years. After reading about synchronised swimming in the newspaper, Bentley joined a club and increasingly enjoyed the sport as the routines became more complex. In 2004 Bentley and her duet partner went to Japan for two months as part of a circus called Aqua Life. Bentley competed in the team event at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, placing seventh.
