Dale's Story

Lining up as the youngest finalist in the shotput at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, Dale Stevenson stood up to the pressure and finished with the bronze medal. He went on to seal his spot for London at the 2012 Clemson Invitational in South Carolina as he threw a new personal best of 20.63m to eclipse the Olympic qualifying mark of 20.50m with his final throw of the competition.

Stevenson’s Olympic debut in London saw him finish 14th in the qualification round with a throw of 19.17m.
