Danielle's Story

With her brother Stephen Carr, Danielle McGrath won an astonishing 19 straight national pairs figure skating titles. The duo made their Olympic debut together at the 1992 Albertville Olympics, where they finished 13th out of 18 pairs. In Lillehammer 1994, they equalled Australia’s best performance by a pair, finishing 11th. At their final Games, in Nagano in 1998, they finished 13th. Carr also placed 18th in the individual event in Lillehammer. 

Carr and McGrath recorded their best World Championship result at the 1994 World titles in Makuhari, Japan, when they finished 8th in the technical program on their way to a 10th place overall.
