Elizabeth's Story
Elizabeth Walker was an Australian swimmer who represented Australia at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. She was part of the strong Australian women's swimming program that helped Australia dominate the pool at its home Olympics, where the nation topped the swimming medal table with eight gold medals.
