Elliott's Story

Elliot Shriane made his Olympic debut at the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games, competing in short track speed skating. Shriane competed as part of the men's 5000m relay, finishing sixth. Shriane was part of the relay team that palced fifth at the Bormio World Cup in 2005, qualifying the team's spot for Torino. Shriane was a member of the Australian 2000m relay team which finished in eighth place at the Junior World Championships in Serbia and Montenegro in January 2005. Only 18 at the Torino Games, Shriane continued to skate following his Olympic debut, narrowly missing selection for the Vancouver 2010 Games.
