Frank's Story

1888 – 1965

Frank Schryver was Western Australia’s first Olympian. He swam in the heats of the 200 and 400 metres breaststroke at Stockholm 1912. He served in World War 1, including at Gallipoli. By the war’s end he had been was decorated with the Military Medal and the Distinguished Conduct Medal. Schryver also served in World War II.
