Graham's Story
Graham Seers began cycling as a junior club rider before becoming a leading Australian road competitor. He represented Australia at world championships and earned selection for the Moscow 1980 Olympic Games, where he was 20. Seers contested the men’s road race in Moscow but was unable to finish the demanding Olympic event.
He remained a prominent domestic rider, recording the fastest amateur time in the Goulburn to Sydney Classic in both 1982 and 1984. After his racing career, Seers moved into coaching, development and administration. He coached India at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, established a junior development program in Malaysia and later held senior positions with Cycling NSW and AusCycling.
