Ha's Story
Born in Daegu, Korea, Sky Kim started archery at eight years of age watching his father coach at a local archery centre. In 2004, Kim was the Korean National Champion in archery however despite this, he missed selection to the Athens Olympics. In 2005 he moved to Australia to be coached by Ki-Sik Lee at the AIS. He gained citizenship in June 2006 and competed for Australia at the Beijing 2008 Games, finishing 19th in the individual and ninth in the teams events.
