HAVE A GO AT OLYMPIC SPORTS
Jacinta van Lint, from Albury, and Elka Graham swam in the heat of the 4x200 metres relay at Sydney 2000. In the final, Susie O’Neill, Giaan Rooney, Petria Thomas and Kirsten Thomson combined to finish a close second behind the Jenny Thompson-led Americans. In this race, Thompson became the first woman to win seven gold medals in Olympic swimming.
