James Swan, originally from Alice Springs and later South Australia, competed in the bantamweight boxing division at Atlanta 1996 and the featherweight division at Sydney 2000.
He was a dual Commonwealth Games bronze medallist in the 57kg division, at Victoria 1994 and Kuala Lumpur 1998.
He is a member of the Aboriginal and Islander Sports Hall of Fame.
