Jennifer's Story

Born in 1966, Jennifer Luff built an Olympic rowing career across two Games in two different boat classes. Luff was 26 when she competed at Barcelona 1992 in the women’s double sculls and 30 when she returned at Atlanta 1996 in the women’s eight, a shift that reflected both her versatility and her longevity at the top level.

Luff finished eighth in the double sculls at Barcelona, then helped Australia to fifth in the women’s eight at Atlanta after the crew progressed to the A final. To reach two Olympic campaigns in different crews gave Luff a respected place in Australian rowing history.
