Jennyfer's Story
Born in 1980, Jennyfer Smith represented Australia in artistic gymnastics at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. Smith was only 16 when she reached the Olympic stage, an age that underlined both her talent and the early demands of elite gymnastics.
Smith competed in the Australian women’s team, which finished 10th in classification at Atlanta. Although her Olympic career was limited to one Games, selection for Australia in artistic gymnastics remains a notable achievement and secured her place in the nation’s Olympic history in the sport.
