Jodi's Story
Born in 1970, Jodi Lambert represented Australia in athletics at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games as part of the women’s 4x100-metre relay team. Lambert was 25 when she reached the Olympic stage, contributing to one of track and field’s sharpest events, where speed and baton work matter in equal measure.
Australia finished seventh in the Olympic final, recording 43.70 seconds after running 43.75 in the heats. A place in an Olympic sprint relay final remains a significant achievement, and Lambert’s role in that Atlanta campaign gave her a respected place in Australia’s Olympic athletics history.
