Juliet's Story

1969 -

Triple Olympian Juliet Haslam won successive gold medals with the Hockeyroos in 1996 and 2000. Haslam made her Olympic debut in Barcelona in 1992, where the team placed fifth. The South Australian was then a driving force as Australia emerged as the world’s finest team, culminating in its memorable victories in Atlanta and Sydney. Haslam famously scored a goal in Australia’s 3-1 victory against Argentina in the gold medal final in Sydney. In Atlanta, the team also recorded a 3-1 victory in the final, against South Korea. Haslam played more than 200 games for Australia in her decorated career. Among her international triumphs were victories in the Champions Trophy, World Cup and Commonwealth Games.
