About Kye

Following a stint in the Australian U17 team competing in the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, Kye Rowles began his professional football career, signing a two-year deal with the Brisbane Roar.

His debut with the Roar came in an AFC Champions League match against Ulsan Hyundai FC in 2017.

Shortly afterwards, Kye moved to the Central Coast Mariners in June 2017, signing a one-year deal with the team. In 2020 he was called to the U23 Australian Team for a series of friendlies against A-League sides.

At Tokyo 2020, he was in the Olyroos squad that produced a stunning 2-0 defeat against Argentina to open their campaign. They would go on to finish in the pool stages and 12th overall at the games.

Rowles would make his senior Socceroo debut against Jordon in 2022 and 8 days later sign with Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian (Hearts). He would add to his international resume on the worlds largest stage, playing all 360 minutes of Australia’s campaign in the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.
