Lachlan Renshaw made his Olympic debut at Beijing 2008, placing 49th in the men’s 800m in a time of 1:49.19. Renshaw’s time of 1:47.00 in a heat at the 2006 World Junior Championships was the fastest by an Australian junior in over 10 years.
