Luke's Story

Luke Anthony Casserly is a former Australian footballer who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Born in Sydney on 11 December 1973, he established himself as one of Australia's leading defenders during the National Soccer League era.

Casserly was a member of the Australian Olyroos squad that competed in the men's football tournament at Atlanta 1996. His Olympic selection came after impressive performances with Marconi Stallions, where he helped the club win the National Soccer League championship.

He later represented the senior Australian national team, earning eight international caps, and enjoyed a professional career that included spells with Northern Spirit and Swedish club AIK. Following retirement, Casserly moved into coaching and administration within Australian and New Zealand football.
