Mark's Story

Mark Jamieson won gold in the individual pursuit and team pursuit at the 2001 Sydney Youth Olympic Festival. Jamieson went on to win the individual pursuit and place second in the team pursuit at the 2002 World Junior Titles and won silver at the 2002 Road Time Trial World Titles. In 2006 he was crowned a team pursuit world champion. Jamieson raced in the team pursuit (4000m) on his Olympic debut at the 2008 Olympic Games. Jamieson and the Australians lost the bronze medal ride against New Zealand to place fourth in Beijing.
