Matthew's Story

Dual Olympian Matt White competed in the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games in road cycling, although he did not finish his road race at either Games. During his 15 year career, White represented Australia not only at two Olympics but at World Championships and the 1994 Commonwealth Games where he finished fourth in the Team Time Trial. White started competitive cycling at age 14 on the track and turned professional in 1996 at age 22. White is married to Olympic bronze medallist in race walking, Jane Saville.
