Narelle's Story
Narelle Mary Hill is an Australian judoka who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Born in Canberra on 27 October 1969, she was a member of the famous Hill family, which produced several elite Australian judo competitors.
Competing in the women's 56-kilogram division at Atlanta 1996, Hill finished equal 13th and earned the distinction of representing Australia on the Olympic stage.
Hill enjoyed a highly successful career domestically and internationally, winning multiple Australian titles and Oceania championships. Earlier in her career, she claimed a bronze medal for Australia at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, establishing herself as one of Australia's leading female judoka of the era.
