Nicholas's Story
Dual Olympian Nick Cleaver competed in moguls at the 1992 Albertville and 1994 Lillehammer Olympic Winter Games. In Albertville, Cleaver was just 16 years of age and made the final, finishing 11th.
At the final of the 1991/92 World Cup season Cleaver placed fifth, but unfortunately missed much of the following season due to injury. At the 1993 World Championships in Austria, Cleaver was placed third after the elimination round, but was injured just prior to the final depriving him of the opportunity to ski for a medal.
Cleaver’s form throughout the 1993/94 World Cup season was strong and at the Lillehammer Games he again made the final, finishing 16th. Throughout his freestyle skiing career, which spanned seven years, Cleaver recorded 12 top-ten World Cup performances in both moguls, aerials and combined.
