Owen's Story

Owen McMahon is an Australian sailor who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in the men's 470 class. Born in Melbourne on 4 August 1970, McMahon developed through Victoria's strong sailing community and competed at elite national and international levels.

At Atlanta 1996, McMahon sailed as crew to skipper Tom King in the men's two-person 470 dinghy event. The Australian pair finished 23rd in a highly competitive Olympic fleet.
