Rowing Women's Eight (W8+)
Born in Bairnsdale, Paige Barr began rowing in 2016 during her school days. After finishing high school, it wasn't long before Paige was selected for Victoria in the U21 youth eight.
In 2022, Paige was selected again and this time finished first in the Queen's Cup with the Victorian women's eight at the Interstate Regatta.
It was also 2022 where Paige would experience her breakout year, as she made the training squad for the World Rowing Championships. By the time the competition rolled around she was the back in the women's senior eight, finishing fifth.
Competing as part of Australia's women's eight at the Rowing World Cups II and III in 2022, Paige finished the tournaments with a bronze and gold medal respectively.
In early 2023, Paige won the Queen's Cup again for Victoria, marking two wins in two years for her state.
2023 also saw Paige continue with her place in the Australia rowing team, cementing herself in the senior eight squad. In the Rowing World Cup II Paige and her team defeated Great Britain to claim gold.
A few weeks later at the Rowing World Cup III, Paige finished the competition with a bronze as part of Australia's eight.
In her second World Rowing Championships in 2023, Paige was a part of the women's eight that came back from the repechage round to eventually finish third.
In 2024 Paige made her Olympic debut in Paris as part of the women's eight. Narrowly missing out on a bronze medal by one second, the crew finished fourth.
