Paul's Story

Paul Agostino is a former Australian footballer who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Born in Adelaide on 9 June 1975, Agostino was a talented striker who went on to enjoy a successful professional career in Europe.

At the Atlanta Olympics, Agostino was a member of the Australian Olyroos squad, competing in the men's football tournament. His Olympic appearance came during a period when he was establishing himself in English football with Bristol City.

Agostino later became one of Australia's most successful players in Germany, spending a decade with TSV 1860 Munich and making 18 appearances for the Socceroos. He also helped Australia win the 2000 OFC Nations Cup.
