Paul's Story

Paul Lynch is a former Australian sprint canoeist who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Born in Sydney on 18 December 1967, Lynch was a member of Australia's elite canoe sprint program during the mid-1990s.

At the Atlanta Olympics, Lynch competed in the men's K4 1000-metre event. The Australian crew finished ninth, competing against many of the world's leading canoe sprint nations.

Representing Penrith Valley Canoeing and training within the Australian Institute of Sport system, Lynch contributed to the growth and competitiveness of Australian canoe sprint racing on the international stage.
