Canoe Sprint Womens Kayak Double (WK2) 500m
Born in Victoria, Paula Harvey started kayaking in 1995 on Melbourne’s Yarra River. She first represented Australia at the 1998 World Cup. In 2003, Harvey made history as the the only female to win all three kayaking distances at one national championships and then went on to compete for Australia at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. In Athens Harvey joined with Susan Tegg to contest the K2 500m with the pair finishing 15th.
