Renee's Story
Renee Chatterton made a rapid rise to the top of rowing, having only competed for three years before gaining selection for the London Games. As a part of the women’s eight, Chatterton made the A Final finishing sixth as USA knocked off Canada and the Netherlands for the gold medal.
The South Australian was first selected on an Australian Rowing Team in 2010 and went on to win a silver medal at the Under 23 World Championships. The following year at the same event she finished fourth in the pair. She was also a part of the women's four that won a silver medal at the 2011 World Championships.
