Roderick's Story

Originally from England, Rod Chisholm became an Australian citizen in April 2007, which he describes as one of the proudest moments of his life. Chisholm made his Australian debut in the lightweight coxless four in 2007, helping the crew qualify the boat for the Olympics. At the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Chisholm and the lightweight coxless four crew finished ninth.

He competed at his second Olympic Games in London, this time in the lightweight double sculls alongside Tom Gibson. The duo missed the final after finishing third in the repechage, eventually winning the C Final and finishing 13th overall.
