Rohan's Story
Rohan Stuart Robinson is a former Australian hurdler who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Born in Melbourne on 15 November 1971, Robinson was one of Australia's finest 400-metre hurdlers and remains a significant figure in Oceania athletics history.
At the Atlanta Olympics, Robinson produced the performance of his career, reaching the final of the men's 400-metre hurdles and finishing fifth. During the competition he recorded a personal best and Oceanian record of 48.28 seconds, a mark that established him among the world's elite hurdlers.
Robinson's achievements also included a gold medal at the 1990 World Junior Championships and a silver medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. His success on the international stage made him one of Australia's most accomplished male hurdlers.
