Sarah's Story

Sarah Rozanne Osvath is an Australian épée fencer who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, on 25 July 1963, she became one of Australia's leading women's épée competitors during the 1990s.

At the Atlanta Olympics, Osvath competed in the women's individual épée event, finishing 38th overall. Her appearance came during the early growth of women's épée on the international fencing stage.

Following her Olympic career, Osvath remained active in fencing, later achieving success in veterans competition, including World Championship and Commonwealth veteran medals.
