Sailor Scott Anderson and Chris Cairns teamed up to win a bronze medal in the Tornado class in 1984. Anderson crewed the catamaran, forming a formidable partnership with skipper Cairns. The pair won the Tornado world title the same year. Anderson has since enjoyed a fine competitive career, winning world titles as well as numerous national and state-level events.
