Athletics Mens Shot Put
Scott Martin competed in shot put at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, finishing 21st. Martin won gold in discus and bronze in shot put at the 2006 Commonwealth Games but was forced to withdraw from the 2010 Games in Delhi due to injury.
Having recorded the third best javelin throw by an Australian, the Victorian earned his spot on his second Olympic Team. At the London 2012 Games Martin threw 62.14m to finish ninth in the qualification round.
