Stephen "Steve" Brimacombe is a former Australian sprinter who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Born in Melbourne on 7 May 1971, Brimacombe was one of Australia's leading 100-metre and 200-metre sprinters during the 1990s.

At Atlanta 1996, Brimacombe competed in both the men's 200 metres and the 4 × 100 metre relay. He narrowly missed the Olympic final in the 200 metres, finishing ninth overall after reaching the semi-finals.

Brimacombe enjoyed an outstanding international career, winning a silver medal in the 4 × 100 metre relay at the 1995 World Championships and a bronze medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. A three-time Australian 200-metre champion and national 100-metre champion, he later became a respected athletics coach.
