Born and raised in Newcastle, Stuart Musialik won an A-League grand final with the Newcastle Jets in 2008. Musialik played seven matches for the Australian U/23 team from 2006-2008 before he was named in the 2008 Olympic Team. Musialik was also named as a substitute for the senior team in a June 2008 World Cup qualifier, suggesting a bright future for the young midfielder. Musialik and the team finished 11th at the Beijing Olympic Games.
