Suzanne's Story
Suzanne Jane “Sue” Banks is an Australian sport shooter who represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Born in Adelaide on 7 February 1972, Banks specialised in the 10-metre air rifle event.
At Atlanta 1996, Banks competed in the women's 10-metre air rifle competition, representing Australia on the Olympic shooting team. Her selection followed strong performances at national and international level.
Banks also represented Australia at the 1994 Commonwealth Games and came from a distinguished shooting family, with her mother Sylvia Muehlberg having been an Olympian as well.
