Tanya's Story

Tanya Harding is an institution in Australian softball. Harding is one of only three softballers to have played in every Australian Olympic Team since softball was admitted to the Olympic program in 1996 (along with Melanie Roche and Natalie Ward). Harding pitched countless winning games for Australia, leading to medals in every Olympic appearance- silver in Athens 2004 and bronze in Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000 and Beijing 2008. The Queenslander was ranked in the top five pitchers in the world for over a decade.
