Ted's Story
A former 100m sprinter, Ted Polglaze took up the sport of bobsleigh and made his Olympic debut at the 1998 Nagano Olympic Winter Games. He was part of the four-man bob that finished 23rd out of 32 sleds. Polglaze went on to have a successful career as a sports physiologist, including working with the national and AIS men’s hockey and women’s water polo teams. He was also an accomplished lacrosse player and was the Sports Science Advisor for the 1998 Australian Lacrosse team. He was part of the Torino 2006 Team, as luge coach.
