Zali Steggall, Steven Bradbury and Alisa Camplin were all awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

Steggall's honour was conferred "for service to alpine skiing, and to the community through support for a range of charitable groups".

Bradbury and Camplin were both recognised "for service to sport as a Gold Medallist at the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic Games".

Bradbury and Camplin are currently athlete representatives on the OWI Board, a position Steggall also occupied for several years.
