CYCLING - TRACK: The 2013 Cycling Australia Track National Championships begins at Sydney's Dunc Gray Velodrome today, with the four day event to feature a number of Australia's Olympic and world championship stars.
Reigning world champions Michael Hepburn (QLD), Glenn O'Shea (SA) and Matthew Glaetzer (SA) and Scott Sunderland (WA) will take to the track alongside fellow Olympians Kaarle McCulloch (NSW), Annette Edmondson (SA), Melissa Hoskins (WA), Amy Cure (TAS) and Alex Edmondson (SA).
A host of current and former junior world champions will also be eager to showcase their skills as they make their debuts in the senior ranks including Caleb Ewan (NSW), Taylah Jennings (QLD), Jack Cummings (VIC), Alex Morgan (VIC) and Georgia Baker (TAS). Rider/State team list.
Nine finals will be contested on Wednesday, with the afternoon session to include the men's time trial and women's team sprint and the evening session boasting six finals including the men's individual pursuit, men's team sprint and women's time trial. Schedule.
The 2013 Cycling Australia Track National Championships will be held at Sydney's Dunc Gray Velodrome from 30 January to 2 February, 2013.
The Championships will be shown live from 7:30pm on Friday 1 February and Saturday 2 February on SBS TWO.
