Closer to luge qualification

Hannah Campbell-Pegg has consolidated her place in the world’s top 30 and an Australian place in luge at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics after finishing in 20th place in the Nation Cup in Altenberg, Germany.

Campbell-Pegg now sits in equal 28th place on the standings, but in equal 25th position in Olympic-adjusted terms (only three luge athletes per nation are permitted at the Games), with the Vancouver field set at a maximum of 30 sliders.

The final qualifying event will be held in Lillehammer, Norway, on December 12-13.
