OWI CEO Geoff Lipshut welcomed the official supplier agreement with Donjoy, which will operate through till 2010.
"It is great for the athletes and reassuring for the organisation to have the support of Donjoy," Lipshut said.
"Unfortunately, injuries do occur in all sport at the highest level. The OWI aims to be on the front foot in minimising the chance of injury and maximising rehabilitation efforts."
"The Donjoy products have assisted OWI athletes on both fronts in
the past. The knee braces in particular have been well used and have performed extremely well during training, competition and rehabilitation activities."
"The OWI looks forward to having input into the development and evaluation of Donjoy products in the future."
