The 2008/09 season was somewhat up and down for our skeleton athletes, but ended in great style, Emma Lincoln-Smith finishing in fifth place at the World Skeleton Championships. The 23-year-old AIS slider also recorded a personal best World Cup result with sixth in Igls, Austria, while team-mate Michelle Steele finished in fifth place in Konigssee, Germany.
